Food waste & plastic packaging in particular are major environmental detriments in the U.S., and our mission is to give regular folks a chance to tackle those issues in their everyday lives simply by changing their shopping habits. We offer refill using your own clean, dry containers — pay for the contents only, and save money & waste!
Millions Of Butterflies
Hello! We are Millions Of Butterflies. A queer, youth led non profit based in New Paltz, NY. We are dedicated to providing our community with what they need, so they can focus on thriving rather than surviving. In 2021 we founded the New Paltz Free Food Fridge, a 24/7, open to all, food pantry located conveniently at the New Paltz Village Hall. This Spring, to celebrate the Fridges 3rd birthday, we are raising funds to purchase CSA shares from local farms to provide the Fridge with fresh, local produce consistently from Summer 2024 through Summer 2025. Our goal is to purchase 3 full shares and be able to reimburse our volunteers for any expenses incurred every step of the way. It's a large endeavor, but we are excited to come together with our community to provide for our community.
