Celebrate International Women's Day!

At Radio Woodstock, we are proud to use our platform to spotlight women across the Hudson Valley who go beyond their everyday titles to make a meaningful impact in our communities. Join us in honoring these women with an International Women's Day celebration.

The Women Beyond Their Title Symposium is FREE to attend + open to all! We just ask that you please RSVP below to help us get a headcount - seating for the panel portion of the event is limited.

Symposium Agenda

1:00 PM - Marketplace + Community Mixer

Start the afternoon by exploring our Marketplace featuring women-owned businesses + local nonprofits. Browse vintage finds and handmade products, connect with mission-driven organizations, enjoy coffee and pastries from Ground Up by Brooke and samosas from Samosa Shack, and mingle with a vibrant community of women. Woodstock Spa massage therapists will also be offering free mini sessions, creating a welcoming space to relax, shop, and connect.

3:00 PM - Gong Soundscapes with HariPrakaash

We'll gently shift the energy of the room with a short immersive sound experience with HariPrakaash, creating space to reset and prepare for the conversations ahead.

3:15 PM - Panel Discussion

Settle in for an engaging onstage conversation with five remarkable women whose work reaches far beyond their job descriptions: Amy Hepworth, Cecille Castillon-Weinstein, Lauree Ostrofsky, Rita Worthington, and Eva Tenuto. Moderated by Melissa Gibson, co-owner of HERbal Woodstock, this discussion will explore personal journeys, motivations, challenges, and the impact these leaders are making in our region.

4:30 PM - CLOSING Performance WITH RUTH UNGAR MERENDA

We'll close the afternoon with a powerful live performance from Ruth Ungar Merenda (The Mammals) - an artist whose creativity, courage, and expression truly embodies the spirit of Women Beyond Their Title.
