The new album

Upstate’s New Chapter: Abalone

With their fourth studio album, Abalone, Upstate brings its distinctive harmonies and collaborative songwriting into a new chapter. Melanie Glenn, Mary Webster, Harry D’Agostino, and Dylan McKinstry draw on the band’s many musical colors, weaving acoustic guitar, upright bass, mandolin, clarinet, melodica, and organ around songs about time, change, and the people we become.

Recorded live in the studio directly to tape, Abalone captures the warmth and spontaneity of musicians playing together. Its ten songs reflect the band members’ experiences with marriage, parenthood, and relocation, finding new meaning in the past as they move forward. Join us at the Radio Woodstock Studios to preview the record with the band.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Entries will be accepted through the online entry form beginning Wednesday, October 21, 2026, and ending Wednesday, October 28, 2026. Winners will be selected and notified by email on Thursday, October 29, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Each winner receives admission for themself and one guest to Radio Woodstock’s Record Release Party with Upstate on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the Radio Woodstock Studios, 1360 NY-28, West Hurley, NY 12491.

Winners and their guests MUST carpool. Parking is limited to one vehicle per winner and guest pair.

Open to legal U.S. residents age 21 or older, subject to the eligibility restrictions in Radio Woodstock’s standard contest rules. All guests must also be 21 or older. The prize is nontransferable. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes and must provide the identification and documentation required by those rules.
