Radio Woodstock General Contesting Rules (2026)

Contests and giveaways conducted by Radio Woodstock ("Station") are open only to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry unless otherwise specified in the contest-specific rules.

Employees of Radio Woodstock, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, prize sponsors, prize providers, and any other companies associated with the administration of the contest (collectively, the "Contest Entities"), as well as their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, in-laws, and persons residing in the same household), are not eligible to participate or win.

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Radio Woodstock, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest.

Winner Eligibility Restrictions

Unless otherwise stated in the contest-specific rules:

Radio Woodstock reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entrant who does not meet these requirements.

Winners will be selected in accordance with the contest-specific rules and notified by telephone, email, text message, mail, or other method designated by the Station.

If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is determined to be ineligible, fails to claim the prize within the specified time period, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.

The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

Prizes are not transferable, assignable, redeemable for cash, or substitutable except at the sole discretion of Radio Woodstock or the prize provider.

All federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize acceptance and use are the sole responsibility of the winner.

A valid government-issued photo identification is required when claiming any prize. Only the individual whose name appears on the winner documentation may claim the prize.

For prizes valued at $600 or more, winners must provide a valid Social Security Number and complete any required tax forms, including IRS Form W-9, before receiving the prize.

Prizes must be claimed within thirty (30) days of notification unless otherwise stated. Event-related prizes must be claimed no later than the last business day before the event date. Any prize not claimed within the applicable time period may be forfeited.

By accepting a prize, winners grant Radio Woodstock and its designees the right to use their name, likeness, voice, photograph, hometown, and biographical information for advertising, promotional, publicity, and marketing purposes in any media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide, without additional compensation or notice, except where prohibited by law.

By participating in any contest, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Radio Woodstock, its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, prize providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of participation in the contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

Radio Woodstock is not responsible for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to lost, interrupted, unavailable, or delayed internet connections, telephone lines, cellular networks, computer systems, servers, hardware, software malfunctions, transmission failures, or any other technical issues that may affect participation in a contest.

Social Media Disclaimer

Any contest conducted through Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, or any other social media platform is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with such platforms. By participating, entrants release all applicable social media platforms from any responsibility related to the contest.

In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the authorized account holder of the email address, telephone number, or social media account used to enter the contest. Radio Woodstock reserves the right to require proof of identity and eligibility before awarding any prize.

Radio Woodstock reserves the right to disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, violates these rules, engages in fraudulent activity, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

Radio Woodstock reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate any contest if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, acts of God, public health emergencies, government regulations, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper operation of the contest, as determined by the Station in its sole discretion.

The Station is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, corrupted, stolen, or undeliverable entries, communications, or prize notifications.

Participation in any contest constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and the decisions of Radio Woodstock, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the contest.

All contests are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to any contest shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York.

Radio Woodstock will conduct all contests substantially as announced and in accordance with applicable FCC regulations and guidelines.
