Radio Woodstock is thrilled to announce the promotion of Assa Sacko-Zarcone to General Manager. In this senior role, Assa will oversee all station operations, including programming, marketing, promotions, digital strategy, events, and organizational workflow. She will work closely with General Sales Manager Marisa Perez-Rogers to unify revenue and marketing strategies. About Assa Sacko-Zarcone: From Paris to Woodstock, Assa joined the Radio Woodstock team in 2011 as a part-time team member and was promoted in 2014 to Marketing Director after graduating from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor’s in Digital Media Production & Management. Over the years, she has led some of the station’s most successful marketing, digital, and promotional initiatives, including on-air programming, festival marketing, community partnerships, and large-scale event activations. Radio Woodstock has become her home away from home. A strategic thinker with a talent for synthesizing information to solve complex problems, Assa combines creativity, vision, and passion for music and storytelling to drive the station’s growth and modernization.
