Guthrie Lord
Audio Engineer
Guthrie studied at Berklee College of Music before honing his recording skills at Vancouver Film School. He moved to the Hudson Valley in 2005, and began performing and recording with local legends such as John Sebastian, Natalie Merchant, Larry Campbell, Elizabeth Mitchell, Levon Helm, and Garth Hudson.
Guthrie worked in music publishing for ten years, helping to curate the music library at Getty Images. During that time, he also mixed seven feature-length films and produced soundtracks for dozens of short films, animations, and advertisements. He's a music educator, with experience teaching students of all ages at The Middle Way School, The School of Rock, and Paul Green's Rock Academy. Since 2017 he has played guitar with the nationally acclaimed ska/reggae ensemble, The Big Takeover.
With experience in almost every aspect of audio recording, Guthrie joins the Radio Woodstock team as a production assistant and sound engineer.
