PAMELA BADILLA
Visual Performance Artist
The performance on March 8th will feature a brief reflection on, *Woman and the divine feminin*, as well as my story, celebrating the depth of sacrifice we often make for love. I call it my Mother's Day story.
I am Pamela Badila, a visual and performance artist, often recognized for many large community theatrical productions, which feature stories encouraging building of the dynamics which foster development of a thriving community.
We engage in selection of stories from around the world, as well as my own original plays for sharing.
I am co founder with my Husband, Elombe' Andre Badila, and Director of Diata Diata Internationl Folkloric Theatre.
I am matriarch of the Badila family of ten children and 16 grand children, with one great grandchild.
I reside in Hudson New York, and am currently Manager of the Hudson Youth Clubhouse.
My first Children's Book, *A Fairy's Tail* illustrated by Ntangou Badila will be published this spring.
