Sheryl Crow, who recently revealed to a newspaper that she has what was described as a benign “brain tumor” has asked fans not to be worried about her health.
“Hey everyone – don’t worry about my “brain tumor”, it’s non-cancerous. Feeling healthy, happy & working on my new record!” she tweeted nine hours ago.
The Grammy-winning singer reportedly told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that she was worried about her memory and so she went out and had an MRI.
“I haven’t really talked about it,” she told the paper. “In November, I found out I have a brain tumor. But it’s benign, so I don’t have to worry about it. But it gives me a fit.”
A representative for Crow didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
Crow, 50, has previously suffered from breast cancer and received treatment. She tweeted to her fans nine hours ago “Appreciate the love and support, I’m fine, really! Watch me on @TheTonyAwards this Sunday night!”
