If you were to experience a sudden illness or life-threatening condition, would your family or loved ones know what to do? Who would make decisions regarding your care if you were unable to do so? Most adults agree that it is important to have someone close to them make medical decisions for them, yet few have appointed someone to assure that their wishes are carried out. It is important to state your desires in writing about health and financial decisions when you are capable of clearly expressing your wishes. Hospice Inc. and HealthAlliance Oncology Support Program are co-sponsoring this workshop to educate you on Advance Directives.
