Are you a true foodie? Would you feel like you won the lottery if in one evening you could eat the creations of eleven of our area’s top chefs? Onteora Schools will host the third annual “Meet, Greet and Eat,” a food lover’s fantasy. This fundraiser, which attracted hundreds of people in previous years, has helped support and improve the Onteora Schools food program. In addition to stellar chefs, the event will feature a number of food-related exhibitors. Many students help stage the evening’s activities, raising their awareness of healthier food choices.
Marybeth and Devin Mills of Peekamoose Restaurant in Big Indian are co-chairing the event, in collaboration with District parent Maxanne Resnick.
Hors d’oeuvres will be available for purchase by attendees. Participating chefs include:

Fruition Chocolate, Bryan Graham. The Onteora graduate crafts chocolate from organic and fair-trade cocoa beans.
First Steps Day Care, Linda Stoothoff. Stoothoff will host a food craft project for little ones.
